Christmas time crafting is here!

I found this site that shows you how to make a felt top hat. I was so inspired I made a couple. My kids shared in the fun by helping me cut out the pattern from paper then chose the ornaments to go on the top of the hat.

Here is the website I found and hope you enjoy making the top hat as much as my kids and I have. I will be hanging these all on my tree. I made the top hats by the instructions. I have thick felt so I cut is a bit small to the actual size in the end as I didnt have to fold the sides in. The purple hat shows what I mean. The one next to it is the one I followed. The tree in the back was my addition to the design so it would hide the glued ends. Worked out pretty good. I wasn't happy with the glued ends and plan to add some fake snow before it goes on my tree. I also didn't put the bell inside. I didn't have any on hand.

When taking photos of the original hats I had forgotten to take one of the red hat in thick felt. I found the thickness of this felt to be the best option. I am not sure how thick it is. I have had the felt hanging around in my crafting supplies for some time. It is thicker than the purple hat. The quality of the felt is strong
