#1 Juf Spiegel/ #1 Teacher Mirror

This Teacher gift is hand painted with acrylics on wood mirror with a touch of ribbon to give it just the right balance between black and white.

Personalized Teacher Gift

There is a touch of felt as the apple holds the ribbon of all the names of the class and the recipient name of this wonderful gift.

This ball has the Teacher's name with all the class names listed along with the year and individual ribbons making this a one of a kind unique gift to give from the class. Instead of giving individual gifts this idea will surely be a hit with any teacher as a memento of moments shared by all classmates.

2015 Snowman Globe Teacher Gift/ Family Gift

These snowmen started out as a crafting lesson I was giving at a nearby school. The snowman itself is made of air drying clay. I used pink chalk to brighten the cheeks and mixed blue acrylic paint to make the lovely scarf keeping the snowman warm.

I have not spent time crafting for myself but I have made some other crafts with the lessons I teach at a school.

UPDATE:   I come across this site while surfing and it is true that great minds think alike. A lady called Karen Lowrey from Activaproducts.com has created a great tutorial for beginners to make a snowman inside a glass ball simular to what I created. Head on over to see her tutorial. The tutorial has a lot of pictures and very easy to understand instructions.

Penguin Mirror - Teacher gift

This penguin is ready for snow. Holding his star to put on a tree outside. His floppy hat and scarf to match make him a cute gift for anyone. This is a Teacher gift along with a personalized candle and a snowman wishing on a star ornament.

I find it difficult to find original gifts for teachers that they don't already have so every year I make these gifts for teachers and for my family.

Materials: Acrylic paint, basic brushes, IKEA mirror

2014 Teacher Christmas Gift - Personalized Candle

Here is the first thing I made for the Teachers this year. I have started Christmas gifts for the Teachers from my children. Over the next couple of weeks I will be posting my new creations. Feel free to come back and see what is new this year.

This candle was designed by me but the angel I have found online. It is the first time I make candles with success. Last year I tried to do it but didn't have wax paper.

This is personalized candle with the names of each child in the teachers class. The names are embedded in a LED candle. It will last as long as they take care packing it away for next year.

I am using this print for personal use. Please read copy right text on usage. Here is the link if you are interested in using the same angel:  Image link: Candy Cane Angel 1

Happy Crafting!!

TIP:
I forgot to mention the reason I didn't have success. I was using baking paper to hold it in place so it was bumpy and didn't melt into the candle so well. With the wax paper the image is soaked into the candle and the wax paper leaves a fine wax film over it. Makes a difference. I am not an expert at making things but I don't limit myself to the things I already know how to do.
