This Snowman is happy to give a helping branch to his little friends in time of need. It's snowing outside and he has found a little bird house for them to call home. Hand painted and original design makes this a unique gift.
There are three or so mirrors on the go right now and I have probably 4 other designs for ornaments on the tree. Next up is Snowman wishing on a star ....
Materials: Acrylic paint, IKEA mirror

Christmas is coming fast and there is a lot to do. This mirror is designed for teachers. The small school house on the top left between the trees with diamonds on the tip. It can also have a regular house in place of a School house.
The snowman is glowing with his own tree and a special star guiding him through the snow. I will be making more designs with this style of mirror. Come back often as now is the time for me to get busy crafting for Christmas.
Material used: Acrylic paint, stick on diamonds, Ikea mirror.

Here is the first thing I made for the Teachers this year. I have started Christmas gifts for the Teachers from my children. Over the next couple of weeks I will be posting my new creations. Feel free to come back and see what is new this year.
This candle was designed by me but the angel I have found online. It is the first time I make candles with success. Last year I tried to do it but didn't have wax paper.
This is personalized candle with the names of each child in the teachers class. The names are embedded in a LED candle. It will last as long as they take care packing it away for next year.
I am using this print for personal use. Please read copy right text on usage. Here is the link if you are interested in using the same angel: Image link: Candy Cane Angel 1
Happy Crafting!!
TIP:
I forgot to mention the reason I didn't have success. I was using baking paper to hold it in place so it was bumpy and didn't melt into the candle so well. With the wax paper the image is soaked into the candle and the wax paper leaves a fine wax film over it. Makes a difference. I am not an expert at making things but I don't limit myself to the things I already know how to do.

I have had a busy year and not much time to craft. I started this disappearing four patch baby blanket for a new baby boy in January and finished it in July. It was the first time I have quilted so it took longer than I thought of course. It turned out how I wanted it to look. All the four patch pieces are from recycled clothes which were all cotton. The blue was bought separately. It is one of a kind baby blanket. The baby is now almost 6 months.
It's time for me to start Christmas gifts so keep an eye out and drop by often to see what I am crafting. Could there be a video tutorial..hmmm. I will see if I can make a new tutorial.
I am glad to see a lot of people taking advantage of the Felting tutorial. Happy crafting!

My son asked me to make an angry bird ornament so I have but the color of the ornament is burgundy so it's not as red as I would like it to have been. If I come across a nice red ones I will pick them up and do it all again. I will post the changes if I make new ones.

I would like to introduce to you Sam the brother of Frosty the snowman. He holds candle above his head to light the way to Christmas spirit. Medium size wine glass transformed into a lovely snowman willing to hold a light for you. Made with a felt hat and a snowflake accent on his hat smiling away at whomever he may see.
I will be making two more to make a set of three snowmen holding tea lights that I have painted faces on. The tea lights are led and I also painted the nose of the light so it shines orange for his nose.

An apple for a teacher is what the snowman brings to school. This is a unique gift for any teacher to hang on their door at home or at school. This snowman will bring Christmas joy to all who are near.
Hand painted and designed. This is made with recycled jeans. Acrylic painted and sealed. I am not sure what type of hanger I will make for this project but he seems pretty cute as he is laying flat.
I will update this at a later date as I have not decided what to use to hang it. There are more to come. I have already painted a gingerbread man and I have some really small pockets to paint to hang in a tree. Keep checking back over the next couple weeks to see what is coming next.
Any comments are welcome on any ornament or project I have posted. Feel free to browse and check out the tutorials I have posted.
